A Rather Exciting Reason NOT to Blog!

I'm sorry I haven't blogged lately (not really), but vow to blog more (perhaps create a schedule?).

You see... a while back in November, I began writing.

Writing about my travels this past summer.

And currently.... have 80 pages written, along with a four page outline of events this summer, meticulously planned out through 29 cleverly-named Chapters.
Along with 200 carefully documented journal pages written this summer while traveling around in a Volkswagen van!

Today, I will be headed into Orlando to meet with John and Shelley.
The plan-

1. go to a coffeeshop, where we will all order soothing warm liquids (as the temperatures in Florida have dropped to a chilly 60 degrees)
2. Ignore each other as we clickety-clack away on our laptops, pretending to be authors of great esteem and knowledge (alongside eight other people doing the exact same thing in the coffeeshop)
3. Celebrate being such interesting writers by heading out in semi-nice clothes to a wine bar not too far from their apartment.
4. I have another number of a man who I may go on a late-night date with tonight (Christ, it's been a while! However, three weeks ago I went date-crazy and went on three of them, so needed time to recuperate, as all three were awful).

Hurrah for weekends, winebars, friends, shady dates, and laptops!
